PREMIER SKILLS employs a number of coaches worldwide. Coaches are hand picked to ensure the quality of our courses is maintained. Within our network of coaches are a number of former professional and international footballers.
Founders
John Cartwright
Co-founder of PREMIER SKILLS. With over 40 years of experience as a player and coach, John has been Technical Director for the English PFA and Academy Director at Crystal Palace. John has coached for England at youth level and was a first team coach at Arsenal. John is a former player with West Ham and Crystal Palace.
Roger Wilkinson
Co-founder of PREMIER SKILLS, Roger has over 35 years football coaching experience. Roger has worked at Crystal Palace and West Bromwich Albion, coached internationally with the New Zealand under 17 and 20 teams and is a former director of coaching for the New Zealand Football Association. He is also the author of a series of best selling youth coaching DVDs. Roger is a former player with Luton Town and Stevenage Town.

Sam Wilkinson
A director at PREMIER SKILLS, Sam has been part of the team for over 4 years now. A UEFA B License holder and current academy coach at West Bromwich Albion FC, Sam provides coaching experience with knowledge of the sports industry. Sam has played semi-professionally in the UK and New Zealand and is a former New Zealand age group representative.
Coach Educators
Mark Fogarty
A senior Coach Educator at PREMIER SKILLS, Mark has over 25 years coaching experience. A former coach at Birmingham City FC and Walsall FC, Mark is currently head of recruitment at Coventry City FC. Mark was a trainee footballer at Wolverhampton Wanderers FC and former England and Great Britain Police Forces representative.

Stephen Roberts
A member of the PREMIER SKILLS team for 4 years. Stephen has extensive experience working at grassroots level throughout the UK. Stephen was one of our first fully qualified Coach Edcuators and provides in depth knowledge and understanding of the Practice Play methodology. Stephen was a former academy player at Stoke City FC.
John Mcglasson
A PREMIER SKILLS Coach Educator for 8 years, John has over 25 years football coaching experience. John has worked at all levels of the game in the UK, Cyprus, USA, Kenya and El Salvador. UEFA qualified, John is a former coach at West Bromwich Albion FC. John is also a Master Practitioner in NLP.

Dave Woodhall
A PREMIER SKILLS Goal Keeping coach, Dave has over 17 years coaching experience. Dave is a former Walsall FC and Birmingham City FC Academy coach. A UEFA qualified coach, Dave has been part of the Premier Skills team for 4 years.
